Happy For Friend Who Bought a New Truck

I have a friend who settled in North Carolina after finding a job there. He worked as a nurse and in a few months, was able to buy a house and its insurance, a car, also with insurance and his own health care insurance from a North Carolina health insurance agency.

When I heard this, I felt happy for him and asked what type of car he got. He said it was a 2003 GMC Sierra 2500 HD pick-up truck with a Duramax 6.0L engine. I looked it up and I was impressed. I just hope that maintenance costs on it would not be too much.

Muffler and Pipes Need Replacement

The exhaust pipe and muffler of my car needs to be replaced so I can get the vehicle tested for its smoke emission. I figure that a new muffler would cost about $30-35 and an additional $5-10 fro labor. I just hope that there are no pipes that need to be replaced so as not to add to the cost.

It has been very useful for me and my family and the ministry especially because it has made going to Makati, where our church is located, easier for us.

Looking for a Mitsubishi L300 FB

I am looking for a van right now in our country. The preference is a 2002-2003 Mitsubishi L300 FB van. with a diesel engine This is for our mother church’s use as a service vehicle and it will be primarily for transporting people and sometimes church equipment like musical instruments and sometimes a super pump 250. We have a budget available for it already but we are looking to get the best deal.

Knowing is Half the Battle

Knowing what’s wrong with your car when it is making some noise or works differently than usual is not enough. You have to know what part has to be replaced and how to remove it and install the replacement part.

Too Busy for Buffing

I have been busy lately that I have not been able to have my car’s body, the part that was newly painted, buffed. The activities I have had compelled me to use my car so I am still waiting for a chance for it to get buffed by the painter.

It’s Looking Good Again

I like it that my Nissan California is looking good again. The painter has not finished everything yet but he has finished spraying it with the last coating.

Right now, I am just excusing my car from being buffed while the paint is being allowed to dry properly. On Tuesday, I will be leaving the car in the shop and will have its paint buffed to get the shine from the last coating of paint.
