What I Did After My Car Got Flooded

I, finally, am able to use my car again after it got flooded. What I did with it was 1) drained the fuel in the tank, 2) flushed out the oil, dirt and water in the engine, 3) replaced the oil in the engine, 4) cleaned and re-oiled the gears, 5) conducted a major tune-up, 6) serviced the brakes and the 7) electrical system.

After doing these, I cleaned the interior and washed the seats, tried to get rid of dark circles of mud which were thankfully easily to do. I did not open the starter and the alternator yet, but after a few days of using the car, I sometimes have a hard time starting it so I decided to open the starter and cleaned it. I just had the carbon filters replaced and everything was back to normal. I am so thankful that my car did not have a computer box.
